The C182-3YD rotary paddle level switch is an industrial-grade detection device employing mechanical contact measurement, designed for monitoring powder, granular and bulk material levels. Its working principle involves a micro motor driving a stainless steel paddle at low speed (approximately 1 RPM). When material obstructs paddle rotation, the internal mechanism triggers signal switching while automatically cutting off motor power; when material level drops, the paddle resumes rotation with status signal restoration. Featuring five-stage sensitivity adjustment, it accommodates materials with different densities (minimum detectable density ≥0.5g/cm³). Constructed with 316 stainless steel paddle and multi-layer sealing, it ensures reliable operation in harsh environments with dust or moisture. Flexible installation options include horizontal, vertical or angled mounting with plug-and-play functionality.
